This policy explains what RuePixel processes to generate previews, protect the API, handle payment, and deliver downloads.

Data you provide
RuePixel processes the brand name, brief, selected options, extracted palette, and optional inspiration image that you provide in the studio.
The browser stores the current kit locally so the success page can unlock and build the download after checkout.
AI generation
When live AI generation is enabled, requests are sent from RuePixel server routes to OpenAI. The OpenAI API key is never exposed to the browser.
The server request asks OpenAI not to store the response data. If the key is missing, unavailable, or rate-limited, RuePixel falls back to deterministic mock generation.
Payment data
Mollie processes checkout and payment details. RuePixel receives payment identifiers and status information needed to redirect, verify, and unlock the digital download.
RuePixel does not collect or store card numbers, bank login details, or wallet credentials.
Security and abuse controls
RuePixel validates prompts, image type, image size, and grid size before generation. Rate limits are used to reduce automated abuse of paid APIs.
